Gingerbread House Ornament...made out of salt dough!

I am still working on the recipe to get it just right, but here is my first attempt at making a gingerbread house with salt dough. It smells so good! You could seal it to keep for many years. I will post the recipe on my account on Pattern Mart for purchase when it is completed.

Mizzou vs. Baylor Game in Columbia, MO

Yes, I know this 'isn't crafting', but it is as close as I get these days! lol! I LOVE to take pics and it fits into my schedule of a forty hour a week job...so this is my crafting at the moment. Here are a few of my fav shots taken yesterday at the game. We were given free tickets and had a gorgeous day in the sun...too bad Missouri fell apart after the second half of the game and lost. My husband and I had a great time though. :)

Some of My Salt Dough Projects

Here are some salt dough and various other projects I've done over the years.

Heart-in-Hand Ornies!

I just made twenty-five of these primitive ornaments for a customer this week. I almost forgot how much fun it was to play in salt dough....and there was enough dough to make a few gingers too! I made them with the Prim Stained Salt Dough Ornie Recipe I sell at Patternmart.com. The heart-in-hand ornies measure about 2-1/2" x 3" using a plastic hand cutter and a metal heart cutter from Hobby Lobby. :)

Fall in Missouri 2009

I took these pics about a month ago just north of Columbia, Missouri, at the Pinnacles Youth Park. The color on the trees was just gorgeous!! I use a Canon Rebel XS and Lightroom by Adobe to edit. Enjoy!
